This chestnut shochu is meticulously crafted using an abundance of "Yamae chestnuts" harvested in Yamae-mura, Kumamoto Prefecture, employing traditional handmade techniques and brewing politely in the special pot called Kamejikomi.
Each chestnut's outer hard skin is individually peeled off by hand, leaving behind the astringent skin to accentuate the chestnut aroma. The result is a shochu renowned for its straightforward and delicate chestnut flavor.
